Brisbane came to the door of Kimberly Taylor (whom at the time was in a "sort of but not quite" relationship with) after The Minerva Theatre closed.  Brisbane was out of a job, a place to live and with little money or luck.  He had no one else to really turn to since everyone else he knew seemed to have moved along with the theatre.  Brisbane wasn't quite ready to dive into a relationship with his friend/love interest/ protagonist Kimberly just yet, so the two took things slowly.

Brisbane currently works for Kimberly's mother Ms. Taylor.  His official title is "lackey".  His job includes making photocopies and delivering the mail in the main office of Lemon Technology.  He rarely visits the other office buildings since Miz. Taylor likes keeping him near.

Brisbane can be painfully passive at times, so he's surrounded by either extremely pushy people or people pathetically as passive as himself.

Brisbane has a college degree in French Literature.  In college he met a girl named Brandie; a girl whom stomped his heart out and broke things off with him after she moved to France and "became in a way".  Brisbane has found no use for his degree as of yet. 

He is also a member of The Mystic Order of the Hippedown Arms Repair Society, which was invented by the three guys from the Hippedown Apartments lounge.

Brisbane had five goldfishes that didn't last him for a week back when he was six. This did not deter his love of pets which may be why Brisbane really wanted a pet which he named Brent. Unfortunately the pet wasn't too fond of Brisbane and was eventually given to his sister, Sofia.

Brisbane and Kimberly's relationship had a few shake ups at times, but the two stuck together and on March 23rd 2008, the two were married.
